Belmond-Klemme Community School District

The Belmond-Klemme Community School District utilizes our online presence (our website & Facebook page) to celebrate student success, promote our school district and the partnership with our communities that make up our school district. Each site is a communication portal to all who have an interest in our schools, students, as well as our community.

Specifically, the basic premise of our Facebook page, which is set to public so those who do not have a Facebook account can view, is to communicate with all stakeholders in an interactive environment. In doing so, we assist our students in establishing a positive digital footprint which is very important in this day and age. It is not uncommon for colleges, prospective employers, and volunteer organizations to conduct an internet search of those who apply. The district wants to be able to provide positive information about our students, staff, and school district that would be a positive reflection of students’ educational career.

In doing so, we encourage our stakeholders to celebrate along with us and our students by being able to comment on posts. At the same time, we do ask that the comments remain positive, and reflect kindly on our students. If a comment is posted that does not reflect a positive interaction or pertain to what the topic of the post is or celebrating student success, the comment will be removed. If a member of the page continues to comment in a negative light, that member will be removed from the page.

If there is a concern, question, or constructive criticism that needs to be communicated, please do so by emailing, calling, or visiting our district offices. District contacts can be located on our website, Distractions such of those being posted on our Facebook page can have a negative impact and reflect poorly on our students, schools, as well as community.
