Summer: 2 Hour trail ride to Back Bay to take the horses swimming!!

Fall/Winter/Spring: Take a trail ride through the woods and around the gorgeous property line. This also features a 30 minute lesson for beginners which you can opt out of if you are ready to hit the trails right away.

We are the Easy Does It Rescue Ranch & Western Riding Academy and we are a full teaching facility (soon to be a 501(c)3 nonprofit status rescue). We house ten horses on 11 acres of land in Pungo, located in Virginia Beach, 10 minutes from Sandbridge, 30 minutes away from the Ocean Front. We have a schooling program for anyone of any age to learn every aspect of the horses. You learn to take care of the horses as if you would own one in the future. You learn how to groom and tack up your horse, feed them, clean the barn, give bubble baths, trail rides to back bay with the horses and much more! It's great for anyone looking to escape for an hour a week who wants to have fun and learn about these great animals. We have 10 horses that we use as lesson horses ranging from beginner to extremely advance. We also offer barrel racing lessons and pole bending lessons once in the academy by one of our senior instructors and active barrel racer in the NBHA circuit.

We also offer hourly rides. We give you the to freedom to ride on your own, or if you want, we have an instructor that will help you learn how to ride and as soon as you are comfortable they will let you go have fun on your own or with your group. We cater to ALL ages and do have pony rides for the smaller children. We offer group rates (call for more info) and have a wide selection of horses for all age groups and riding levels. You do have to schedule the appointment but we offer morning and evening rides every day of the week, especially weekends.
