Dr. Adrio’s career in dentistry began in 1983, when he graduated first in his class from the University of Louisville School of Dentistry. After practicing general dentistry for five years, he decided to pursue additional training in the specialties of orthodontics and periodontics. He did this training at the University of Pennsylvania.
Upon completion of his training, Dr. Adrio accepted a teaching position with the university and subsequently, practiced in Philadelphia, Chicago, and New Jersey. He returned to his home town, Louisville, in 1995, founding his practice on his dual specialization in orthodontics and periodontics and in 2004, opened his current, state-of-the-art facility in St. Matthews.
Of course, advancements in the field are constantly taking place; when Dr. Adrio isn’t in his office working with patients, he’s often attending seminars and conferences, expanding his knowledge and honing his professional skills. He also accomplishes this through his participation in a variety of professional organizations including:
