Vision, need, and foresight prompted a small group of professors to start a credit union at the University of Utah in July, 1956. The vision of the founding members who signed the original charter gave birth to what has evolved into a strong, progressive, full-service financial institution.
Today the University Credit Union has expanded to not only serve the needs of the University of Utah staff, students and faculty, but to all individuals who live, work, go to school, worship or participate in service in Salt Lake County.
