Community First Bank opened in March of 1990. The organizers, a group of upstate South Carolina businessmen, became the bank's first Board of Directors, and remain actively involved with the bank. Community First Bank opened with the commitment to provide outstanding customer service to its market area, the upstate of South Carolina. Our first banking offices were located in Oconee County. In 1999, Community First Bank expanded into Anderson County South Carolina to provide the same level of outstanding customer service to the residents and businesses of Anderson County. Community First Bank now operates 4 branches in Oconee County and 3 branches in Anderson County South Carolina. Future plans call for expansion with additional offices in Anderson County to better serve our customers in our market area. Community First Bank is firmly committed to our original focus of outstanding customer service, being a good corporate citizen, and being both responsive and flexible in meeting our customer's banking needs.
