Mr. Dick Brownell started the Agency in 1953 in the city of Pomona, CA. In 1974 Mr. Gary Williams purchased 50% of the agency. In 1976, Mr. Brownell retired and Mr. Vernon Fix purchased the remaining 50%. A California Corporation was formed at that time in the name of Brownell, Williams, and Fix Insurance & Bond Agency. In 1985, the agency relocated from Pomona, CA to Upland, CA. In 1990, witht the assistance of a new partner, Mr. Ernie Arutunian, BWF purchased Rockwell Insurance Agency, Inc. This purchase brought in a larger cliental base and insurance markets.
This agency writes all lines of insurance and surety bonds. We are agents and brokers for numerous highly rated carriers. We have been in business in the local area for over 60 years.
