Arden Courts of Fair Oaks (VA) came together as a community to bring greater awareness to finding a cure for the devastating disease of Alzheimer’s this year at the Alzheimer’s Associations Walk to End Alzheimer’s. This year we looked at this disease as a personal journey for each of us. It is too late for our family members and residents, but IT IS NOT too late for us. We had over 60 walkers the day of the event, and also came together in May to put together fundraising ideas, silent auctions, and personal fundraising to raise a total of $39,322 for the Walk to End Alzheimer’s. Arden Courts of Fair Oaks was the top team in the all SEVEN walks in Northern Virginia this year!
