Alligator Adventure shared Phoenix Herpetological Society's post.
Congratulations to our friends at Phoenix Herpetological Society for receiving this very endangered species of Crocodilian. If you come to the park be sure to check out our adult pair in Croc Cove.
We have some exciting news....PHS received 4 False Gharials (Tomistoma schlegelii ) Monday and we are so thrilled! For those of you that have visited PHS, they are the same species as Grandma, who is very old, with only a couple of teeth left! These four new arrivals came to us from Jong's Crocodile Farm in Malaysia and are part of the SSP (Species Survival Program) program, primarily meant for tracking and helping endangered species prosper in captivity, which as you know is something PHS is very proud to be a part of! They will be on exhibit for both tours and our upcoming Twilight Croc Walks, which you can sign up for RIGHT NOW, by the way! They are definitely a sight to see with their unusually long and slender snouts and razor sharp teeth! Come check them out with us at the first Croc Walk (register on our website) next Friday night!

We had a very special guest stop by the park yesterday. Dr. Sean Bush of the TV show Venom ER that used to air on the Animal Planet brought his family to the park. What a knowledgeable and interesting guy to talk to. He even had a fan in the park recognize him yesterday. Thanks for visiting Dr. Bush.

Our big girl is 2yrs old today. Let's all wish her a Happy Birthday.

Our Director of Veterinary Medicine Dr. Sam Seashole is currently in Trinidad. He has been there assisting researchers with a new species of Caiman that has been recently found on the island of Trinidad. We are extremely proud of the work that he is doing there. Be sure to watch the video that is in the link below. Thanks to Saiyaad Ali of Reptile Conservation Center Of Trinidad and Tobago RCCTT for hosting Dr. Seashole.
