Located in the beautifully renovated Old City Hall since 2000, the Black Mountain Center for the Arts offers public Exhibits, Concerts, Theatre, Festivals, Special Events and a myriad of classes for all ages in music, dance, visual arts, writing, and more. We have a separate building for our Clay Studio with classes and independent study opportunities (including a handicap accessible potters wheel). We also offer workshops and summer camps. The main building is in the heart of the historic district, right next to the history museum. Our facility is nearly 100 years old, and is a wonderful site to visit as an historic landmark as well!
