Arena Cheese was founded in 1999. It was purchased by Bill and Nel Hanson. We produce Colby, Colby Jack and Cheddar cheese. We have recently started producing Gouda and have had very good responses with our taste tests. One of our prized local products are cheese curds. Our squeaky curds are very well known for the wonderful flavor.
Our store offers a wide variety of cheeses as well as our fresh cheese curds. Our store is open 7 days a week. The store hours are 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Monday - Friday and 9:00 AM -5:00 PM Saturday and Sunday. (6:00 PM during summer). There is a large viewing window which allows a wonderful view of the cheese making process. With advance notice we are able to provide a cheese maker to provide an explanation of the entire process.
