Founded in 1927, Saddle & Bridle is the oldest of all equine publications in the United States that has specialized in show horses. Originally a society magazine in St. Louis, Saddle & Bridle has continued to serve the show horse world through the depression and a World War without missing a single issue.
Today, Saddle & Bridle has become accepted as the leader by professional horseman and exhibitors alike who show their prized and beautiful Saddlebred, Hackneys, Shetlands, Standardbreds, roadster horses and other show breeds at shows across the country. Over 5,500 faithful readers receive Saddle & Bridle annually to check show records, sire ratings, sales results, features and other stories on show horses to better inform themselves for some of the most demanding competition in the show ring.
