Diocese of Saginaw Facebook Comment Policy

Followers are encouraged to post questions, comments and concerns, but should remember this is a moderated forum hosted by the Catholic Diocese of Saginaw.

All posts and comments should be kept civil in tone and be marked by Christian charity and respect for the truth. They should be on topic and presume the good will of other posters. Discussion should take place primarily from a faith perspective.

Comments will not be removed simply because they express opinions in disagreement with the Diocese of Saginaw. However, comments that may be deleted include those that contain:

- Vulgar language

- Personal attacks/inflammatory remarks against a person or group

- Content blatantly off topic

- Spam/Promotion of services, products, links to outside Facebook pages, political organizations, etc.

- Links to sites that contain offensive material or attack Bishop Cistone and the mission of the Diocese of Saginaw

- Information that is factually incorrect

The Diocese of Saginaw will remove posts considered to be in violation this policy.
