ERNIE'S AUTO BODY was established in 1961 and has played a vital role in the Avon community. We are located on the Avon/Westlake border; five minutes from I-90 and Crocker Park shopping center. We service customers not only from Avon, but also from all the surrounding cities including Amherst, Avon Lake, Bay Village, Elyria, North Olmsted, North Ridgeville, Rocky River, Sheffield, Sheffield Lake and Westlake.

Because we are a small, family-owned business, ERNIE'S AUTO BODY is able to offer a more personal approach to your needs. We still provide "free" pick-up & delivery services for those customers who need a little extra help and we also work closely with Enterprise Car Rental in Westlake. Customers can conveniently meet Enterprise at our facility and drop off their rental cars on our premises when picking up their repaired vehicle. We can make all your rental car arrangements for you.

If your vehicle has been in an accident and it is not drivable, ( headlights or taillights broken, fluid leaking or your hood has been damaged ), please do not risk another accident by trying to drive it somewhere for an estimate. Ernie's can immediately arrange for a tow and call your insurance company to inspect the damage at our facility. We do all the leg work for you and can save you the time and aggravation that normally comes with an accident.

ERNIE'S AUTO BODY takes immense pride in their work and promises to repair your vehicle back to its pre-accident condition in a timely fashion. Our Master technicians have I-CAR certifications, ASE certifications, Air Conditioning certifications and they continue to educate themselves with the latest techniques necessary to give our customers the high-quality repair they deserve. Ernie's Auto Body works with ALL insurance companies and have done so since 1961. We have a very good rapport with these companies and we know almost all of the adjusters and appraisers by name. However, there have been many changes in the insurance industry and many of them may have a "preferred" body shop list they recommend to their customers. These repair facilities are shops that meets the insurance company's criteria of their specific program and the shop agrees to do business in that manner. The insurance company's purpose of these shops is to streamline the claims settlement process. ERNIE'S AUTO BODY has chosen not to be on many of these lists. We prefer to work for YOU, our customer, first and foremost. We can handle your car from start to finish and you will receive the same guarantees offered by these DRPS. You will receive the same, fast service and also receive individual attention you may not always get from a DRP. Your insurance company cannot limit the repair costs to that which would have been incurred had the vehicle been repaired by a DRP shop.

We will answer all your questions and take the time with you that is necessary for you to understand your repairs. Let us ease the stress related with an accident - you will never be rushed or feel like a number at our facility.

It is the Ohio State Law that you only need ONE estimate and you have the right to choose the shop where you wish to have your vehicle repaired. Ernie Fesco II
Owner and operator since taking over the business from his father in 1971. Ernie comes highly qualified and provides an honest, trust-worthy business that people can rely on in these hard times. He promises complete customer satisfaction and will go that extra step to keep his customers happy and coming back. His personal touch has made many friends of his customers throughout the past years.

Bette Fesco
Bette joined Ernie's Auto Body in 1986 after several years in the sales business with a Cleveland firm. Although she mainly works with the accounting end of the business, she wears many hats and has, on occasion, ran the business in her husband's absence. She enjoys the free pick-up and delivery they offer to their customers as it presents an opportunity to talk with them on a personal basis.

Dennis Bring
Dennis has been with Ernie's Auto Body since Ernie took over the business in 1971 and is a true craftsman in his field. He is an expert bodyman and Ernie's Auto Body feels blessed to have him on board. Dennis' work displays the highest quality and has received the utmost of compliments from our former customers. Dennis continually strives to give our customers the absolute best repair they deserve.
