Dr. Garrison Meighen, our new doctor, has been in practice for over 20 years. After visiting our area, and falling in love with the people the area, she decided she wanted to care for the vision needs here. Cleveland Eye Care has been providing eye exams and vision services to the residents of Cleveland, Blountsville, Locust Fork, Oneonta, Snead, Allgood, Altoona, Remlap and Hayden since 1999. Formerly, this practice was owned by Dr. Faye Andrews, but after some changes in her personal life, which included adopting a little girl in need of a home, Dr. Andrews searched for a doctor she could trust to take care of the patients of Cleveland Eye Care with the same level of care she had always given. Long time friend, former classmate, and seasoned Optometrist, Dr. Garrison Meighen, took that mantle on her shoulders.
Denise Murphree, Front desk receptionist and insurance specialist, will still be the smiling face and helpful person you encounter when you call or stop by the office. She has lived in Oneonta with her husband - a native of this area and graduate of Cleveland High School - for over 16 years. Denise's husband is a minister in Cleveland, and both husband and wife and have been actively involved in our community for many years in the schools, local food banks and soup kitchens, and in their church.
Carol Byrd, CPOA, a long time friend and business partner for Dr. Meighen, will be our new office manager. She will be helping in the areas of patient care, insurance billing, and with your glasses and contact orders.
