What began as a holiday food basket giveaway in 1976 has evolved into a solid lifeline for those in need. Open 3 days a week and staffed by a dedicated team of 70 volunteers under the direction of Neil Watkins, the Sky Valley Food Bank served 56,743 individuals in 2010, providing 790,615 pounds of food to families in our community.
