The foundation is a non-profit corporation, governed by an independent board of directors that administers all philanthropic gifts to Bozeman Health and its programs.
Due to more than a century of philanthropic giving by a generous community, facilities and services have been expanding since the hospital's inception in 1911. Constant growth in the area's population has resulted in an increased demand for health care services and programs that cannot be met exclusively with the hospital's resources. Since its inception, Bozeman Health Foundation has raised over $16 million for capital expansion at Bozeman Deaconess Hospital and has nearly $8 million responsibly invested in permanent endowment funds to serve the future needs of Bozeman Health.
Through continued philanthropic partnerships, Bozeman Deaconess Foundation will strive to insure that services and programs continue to meet the needs of those living in this region.
