Since 1917, the American Red Cross has dedicated itself to engaging, inspiring, educating and serving Kentucky and Southern Indiana. The Kentucky Region is comprised of the Bluegrass Area, Eastern Kentucky, Louisville Area, South Central Kentucky and Western Kentucky Chapters. We work with 119 counties in Kentucky and Southern Indiana, and have chapter offices in Louisville, Lexington, Owensboro, Bowling Green and Ashland. We prepare and respond to disasters, teach health and safety courses, help military families communicate with their loved ones during emergencies, and provide blood to local hospitals.
