Melissa Granley has worked for Intermountain Healthcare for 22 years, with the past 8 years as a mammographer at American Fork Hospital. She says the best part of her job is the ladies she gets to interact with when they come in for their mammogram. “We remember them from year to year and get to know them,” she said. The rewarding part of the job is being proactive and helping to detect breast cancer. Melissa also enjoys the team she works with and says they have a good rapport among them. “I think this is the best group of techs,” she said. “They are super friendly and the patients love them.” She can’t imagine working anywhere else. When she’s not at work, Melissa spends time with her husband and four children. She says her kids are her hobby at the moment. They enjoy traveling and riding bikes. The family owns a boat and enjoys the waters of Lake Powell and Nevada. She and her husband recently celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary with a trip to Italy. We are grateful to have Melissa as part of our AF team. Thanks, Melissa, for all you do for our patients!
