Timothy Christian Church (DoC) has been active in ministry since the late 1800's. We are part of the covenant of churches that make up the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in the United States and Canada. This branch (denomination) is one of three to come from the Stone-Campbell movement that emerged on the frontier during the early 1800's.
We are a church that emphasizes freedom of thought (with responsibility), mission, restoration (centrality of Scripture), and ecumenism (Christian Unity). We understand, and even enjoy, the variety of God's creation. No matter what our differences, in being or in opinion, we are all invited to share equally at the table.
Our worship is traditional to the area, with Gospel rooted hymns, an active choir, and Communion every Sunday.
