#LoveGodLovePeople Were able to attend Bedford Acres on Sunday the 19th of February? If so, like this post or comment on this Post. Sr. Minister Mitchell McIntyre preached on the sermon series of Picture Perfect. This past Sunday topic was on Parenting. He reminded us of the verse in the bible from the book of Proverbs 22:6. The take away points are as follows: - How Do We Train Up a Child 1. Teach them to follow God : 2 Timothy 3:15 2. Teach them by example: Deuteronomy 6:6-7 3. Teach them in the church Hebrew 10:25 - Discipline Them 1. It's your responsibility: Proverbs 3:7 2. You are a parent first: Proverbs 29L17 3. Don't provoke them: Ephesians 6:4 - Love Them 1. Don't do it alone ask for Gods help: Psalms 127: 3-5 2. Don't do it alone ask for others help: 3. Don't give up!!! If you missed the sermon; you miss a fantastic sermon. This coming Sunday, the sermon series is going to be on Friendship. We encourage you to invite your friends, loved ones, neighbors, co-worker or that person in line at Wal-Mart. If not, you missed a wonderful message on the sermon series of Picture Perfect. Mitchell talked about Marriage. He preached from the Book of Ephesians 5: 31-32 and Genesis 2:22-24. Three points: 1. The design for a special relationship has been there from the very beginning. 2. Marriage should be portraits of Christ's love for the church. 3. Marriage is about God First, then your spouse, then you. If you didn't get to come on Sunday; you can still listen to the sermon on podcast or via the church's website.
