Southland Tube, a Nucor company, was founded in 1987 in Birmingham, Alabama for the purpose of serving a regional customer base with ASTM A513 mechanical tubing. The Montgomery family purchased the assets in 1995 and grew the business into a national brand with a strong reputation for superior customer service throughout the marketplace. Southland’s team grew from a handful of employees to a family of over 260 members. Southland Tube currently serves the metals service center industry nationwide, as well as select OEM customers, with the most popular ranges of hollow structural steel (HSS) and mechanical pipe and tube.

Southland Tube is a leading manufacturer of carbon steel pipe and tubing, located in Birmingham, Alabama. Southland takes special pride in providing prompt service and delivery of quality pipe and tube, while meeting the diverse needs of customers. Southland produces steel pipe and tube to ASTM specifications, including but not limited to A500, A513, A847, A252, and A1085. Southland Tube produces Square Tubing in sizes from ½" to 10" along with comparable Rectangles. Wall thickness ranges from 18 gauge to ½" wall. Round Tubing is available in sizes from " OD (½" Pipe) through " OD (12" Pipe).

Most Southland shipments are made within 24 hours of an order. Southland will ship to business locations or job sites anywhere in the continental United States, Mexico and Canada.
