Northeast Iowa School of Music is Dubuque's community music school.
Instructional programs are available for preschoolers through senior citizens. No experience or audition is required, and need-based scholarship assistance is available.
Northeast Iowa School of Music teaches private lessons in piano, voice, guitar, composition, and band and orchestra instruments, as well as a variety of group classes for both children and adults. Special services include Suzuki Strings, music therapy, and college credit partnerships.
In addition to on-site instruction, the school offers three adult performance ensembles and provides the community outreach programs and a variety of events and concerts.
Northeast Iowa School of Music iis a 501(c) 3 (non-profit) corporation; all donations are tax-deductible.
