All GCBA members abide by the following code of ethics: 1. Work and learn together as allies in a non competitive environment 2. Maintain the highest standard of excellence 3. Practice good business ethics at all times 4. Practice professional integrity by promising truthful and accurate information in all aspects of professional performance and duties 5. Be accountable, objective, fair, tactful, and maintain the highest standards of personal conduct. 6. Commit to professional growth and knowledge through educational enrichment 7. Provide quality service in a timely and cost effective manner 8. Use honest and factual information in all advertising and protect the public against fraud and misleading information 9. Maintain a positive and professional attitude in all business relationships including clients, colleagues, and competitors Membership Requirements 1. Members business must be located in Genesee County, Michigan and have a storefront with the exception of Photographers, Videographers, Entertainers and Officiants. 2. Members will pay an annual membership fee of $75 per year. 3. Members will attend a minimum of three out of the six meetings in each calendar year. A nominal fee will be charged for meetings 4. Members will promote and support other members businesses 5. Members must have websites and must have the GCBA’s logo with website link displayed on their website 6. Members will be given advance notice of any GCBA special events, showcases and trade shows
