At Newnan Utilities, we consider it our responsibility to make a positive impact on the communities we serve. Over the years, we have consistently given to local nonprofits, schools, and organizations in our community. Many of the donations are made with the generous help of our customers and employees.
In 2017, Newnan Utilities leadership decided it was time to take our charitable giving to the next level. In an effort to be more purposeful in our charitable giving and to partner with our customers on a grander scale, we established the Newnan Utilities Foundation and a unique opportunity to give through the Caring Customers program.
The Newnan Utilities Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, and the Caring Customers initiative is program of this Foundation. The mission of the Foundation is to support charitable causes that improve the quality of life for the citizens within the communities we serve.
Our customers are passionate about community and believe in a hands-on approach to making our community a better place to live, work and play. Through Caring Customers all Newnan Utilities customers can partner with Newnan Utilities in deliberate, charitable giving. Local non-profit organizations are the beneficiaries of 100% of the funds raised through this partnership. Together, we help our neighbors.
