Community Presbyterian Church

The Community Presbyterian Church of Chester is proud to bring the community at large the annual Peach Festival. The donations we receive come from residents all over New Jersey, and our patrons come from states all over America. Our HOMEMADE Peach Ice Cream has been the foundation of this event since it began approximately 35 years ago. We have an extensive country auction filled with all kinds of treasures and special items. An enormous white elephant that has everything you never knew you always needed. Our book department could fill a library with every kind of literature your hearts might desire. We have a wonderful sports department giving you the opportunity to learn all kinds of new athletic endeavors. Looking for something to plug-in? Take a look at our electric department with everything from televisions and computer equipment to lamps, alarm clocks and everything in between. If you want to get a whole peach pie to take home with you make sure you get there early (those pies never last long). While you travel around this wonderland of surprises make sure to get some of our wonderful food. All of our delicious desserts are made by our dedicated church members, and NO ONE can pass up home made desserts on a hot summers day. So, grab a burger or a hotdog cooked by one of our grill masters or just grab a fresh brewed iced tea and a bag of popcorn from one of our other vendors. Make sure not to miss out on our baked goods table a collection of Tasty treats packaged to go. If you are looking for something delicious in a jar check out the Country Pantry's selection of Homemade Jellies, Jams, Pickles and more. Last, but not least take a few moments and look around the front of the church to see some of the missions our church is involved in throughout the rest of the year.
