A Catered Affair has always been a family run business. When Linda and I started in this business 1995, we chose not to have employees. This was done to keep the costs down for our customers and to maintain strict quality control over our services. Our kids helped as they grew up, and now that Linda is working full time, the boys are in college and starting their own careers, we decided that our business model must change. We had two choices, hire employees or scale back the business. After much consideration, we decided to scale back the business and focus on the events that bring us the most pleasure to do.
We have decided to tailor our business to concentrate on family events for our friends; friends of friends, and other referrals. Those types of events such as a large Birthday party, Wedding, Anniversary party, or Holiday party where you want to enjoy the party and not have to worry about the food prep and cooking. We can handle events up to approximately 125 persons depending on the menu selected. We will have a select menu of our favorites and previous customer favorites with very competitive pricing and our same great quality food. We will still have availability to event rentals, will still have our catering equipment and can still setup in your rented facility, your kitchen, or even in an out of the way area of your back yard. We will still continue to be fully licensed and insured and will continue preparing food as required in our licensed and approved commercial kitchen or on-site.
