Water break out front of the salon. City is working hard to fix it asap. We'll still be in business tomorrow. If you have an appointment call first to see if we have water. Tanning will still be open. Also, park as far away as you can (subway side) to keep parking open for city workers. Thank you all and let's hope we get back to it soon!!

Avenue Haircrafters shared A life to LIV: Cure Sanfilippo's photo.
Our silly, loving, beautiful little girl is turning 3. We should be happy, right? With her recent diagnosis, a year older is terrifying. 4 months ago, we were shocked and devastated when Liv was diagnosed with Sanfilippo Syndrome (MPSlllB), also known as “Childhood Alzheimer's.” Liv’s 3rd birthday is coming up on May 1st, and it will be a bittersweet day. We know she is getting closer to the age when the disease begins to take hold. The fact is that the disease is working on her every second and regression often begins in the preschool years. Liv IS still learning and saying new words and we don’t want to ever say that she has lost her language, memory, or anything else. However, without treatment her future will be loss of language, a wheelchair, a feeding tube, and sadly will not live beyond her teens. That is an extremely tough road that no one wants to travel. Today she is a silly toddler who has a lot of life to live. She needs help NOW and to find a successful treatment. There is promising research out there that shows that it can help this disease! We are hoping to raise $20,000 from April 24th until Liv’s 3rd birthday on May 1st. Every dollar donated goes to a non-profit organization funding this very urgent research, the Cure Sanfilippo Foundation. There is power in numbers. The possibilities to share are endless. Please help us to write an alternate ending to our story. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts, The Jordan Family To donate please visit:
