Educational Philosophy: We recognize that children develop physically, emotionally and socially at their own individual pace. The Jefferson Child Care and Education Center provides an environment that offers children opportunities to grow and learn through a developmentally appropriate curriculum, which recognizes and addresses the needs of each child.
History: Jefferson Child Care and Education Center was incorporated in 1974 as a private non profit 501(c) (3) organization, in response to the need for high quality affordable and developmentally appropriate child care services. Since 1983, the Center has provided Before and After Kindergarten Care, Before and After School Care and Summer Camp. The Before and After Kindergarten program and Before and After School / Summer Camp programs are located in the Jefferson Township Public School buildings.
