CHILD ADVOCACY, ABUSE INTERVENTION & PREVENTION CHERISH is a 501(c)(3) child advocacy center (CAC) founded in 2009 that provides abuse intervention and prevention services to the community. CHERISH is a neutral, supportive, safe place where children and teens can talk. All of our employees are trained child forensic interviewers. CHERISH provides referrals, and community education. CHERISH brings together a strong network of quality child services defined as a Multi-Disciplinary Team dedicated to decreasing violent harm to children and increasing thriving children and families in our communities. Mission: To provide a neutral, child-friendly center to investigate alleged child abuse and neglect, while keeping the comfort, safety, and healing process of the child the first priority. Vision: To strengthen our communities’ abilities to nurture and protect children.
