We began in 1944 with the purchase of a 60 acre pecan orchard by Grandfather Marvin & Grandmother Irene Ellis. Elliott Ellis took his fathers orchard, erected a single billboard on Interstate 75, and with the help of two of his sons, Brad & Keith, expanded to over 3000 acres of pecans, a retail store with (3) Gourmet Kitchens, a shelling plant, a cleaning plant, and a buying station. Our 4th generation are now working and learning to carry on the family legacy of We're Nuts.
