The purposes of the Parsippany PAL, in close cooperation with the Parsippany-Troy Hills Youth Services Section of the Parsippany Police Department, are:
To promote and advance generally the needs and welfare of youth without regard to race, religion, color, sex, sexual orientation, or national origin; To foster and encourage in the youth of the community a spirit of loyalty and faith in American traditions and institutions; To participate actively in constructive movements and endeavors for the promotion and safeguarding of the interests and general welfare of the youth of the community; To cultivate and improve the moral and civic standards of the youth of the community; To provide a safe and productive environment where the youth of the community can enjoy educational, social and athletic activities under competent supervision; To further promote clean sportsmanship and good citizenship among boys and girls of the Township of Parsippany-Troy Hills.
