There are 58,318 names etched in the black granite walls of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial. And photos of nearly 5,000 of those servicemembers are still needed to complete the Wall of Faces project. American Legion Past Department of New York Auxiliary President Sue Britton, and the entire New York Legion Family, are doing their part to find those missing in their respective state.
The Department of New York is supporting the Wall of Faces project and is challenging other departments to do the same.

American Legion National Commander Denise H. Rohan is calling on the Legion Family nationwide to serve up the biggest and best Veterans Day dinner in history.

“The American Legion applauds the secretary of the Department of Veterans Affairs for his efforts to improve health care for veterans by streamlining out-of-system community treatment options while strengthening care at VA facilities nationwide,” said National Commander Denise Rohan.
Proposal would implement new care coordination support for veterans, and merge and modernize community care programs.
