The Food Bank of Central & Eastern North Carolina provides more than 1 million pounds per week of food and nonfood essentials to low-income clients through partner agencies such as food pantries, soup kitchens, shelters, after-school programs and senior centers. The Food Bank has six warehouses across our 34-county service area in Raleigh, Durham, Greenville, New Bern, Southern Pines, and Wilmington, covering nearly 19,000 square miles.
In addition to distributing food to those in need, the Food Bank also works on the root causes of hunger, sponsoring programs that educate children and adults on how to find the food they need to become self-sufficient.
