Sunnyhill Adventures

Sunnyhill, Inc. specializes in individually tailored residential services, adventure camp, travel opportunities and the Sunnyhill University day program for children and adults with developmental disabilities.

Sunnyhill provides customized daily care, supoprting individuals so that they can live independently in the community. Sunnyhill serves over 200 people with disabilities in this program. Depending on the support needed by the individual, our services can be as comprehensive as 24 hour care or as minimal as a once a week visit to help the client pay bills or go to the grocery store.

Sunnyhill's camp in Dittmer, MO provides camping experiences for people of all ages and abilities. This program allows people with disabilities the opportunity to experience activities others take for granted, such as swimming, float trips, climbing and repelling, fishing, boating, hayrides, forming new friendships, reaching goals and making dreams a reality.

Sunnyhill also has a program called “On the Road Adventures” that provides adults with developmental disabilities the opportunity to take weekend road trips to a variety of locations like Branson, Chicago, Memphis, Nashville and others.

Sunnyhill University provides activities that keep people with developmental disabilities involved in life and their community and offers the opportunity for growth as well as enjoyment. The program provides people with developmental disabilities the opportunity to develop their intellectual, physical and social skills. The students learn about their communities and the world and they improve on their communication, social and other living skills. Sunnyhill University is a “school” where students of all ages with developmental disabilities are valued, accepted and challenged and are able to learn, express themselves and achieve.
