The Ponderosa FD is a combination fire & rescue services organization serving 47,000 citizens in 13 square miles of unincorporated Harris County Texas. We have 3 fire stations and a training facility. Staff consists of 9 full time firefighters, a cadre of part time paid firefightes and 60 volunteers - all are state certified via the Texas Commission on Fire Protection and/or the State Firemen's & Fire Marshals Association.
