Urgent Care of Louisiana is a locally owned and operated clinic that specializes in the treatment of urgent, semi-emergent, and walk-in medical problems for all ages. Our goal is to provide superior medical care to our patients while avoiding the long waits and exorbitant fees typically encountered in an emergency room environment. The owners, Drs. Paul Bracey and Chris Wolcott, are Shreveport natives who have collectively lived in the area for over 60 years. Both are board certified Emergency Room specialists and have earned Fellowship status from the American Board of Emergency Medicine.
Drs. Bracey and Wolcott have obtained most of their professional experience working in Level 1 Trauma Centers, the highest level of care available. Combined they have over 20 years of experience treating patients in emergency medicine.
What this means to our patients is that they are trained to provide exceptional care for all levels of acute illness and injury. Their goal is to bring their expertise to area families in a rapid and efficient manner.
