Mortgage Lender in Austin, TX Greg began his career in the mortgage business in February 1998. After working as a junior loan officer for two plus years, Greg opened Island Mortgage, a sole proprietor, on South Padre Island in June of 2000. Greg grew and managed the brokerage into a high producing operation in deep south Texas. In December 2008, Greg and Island Mortgage joined with Georgetown Mortgage LLC. Island Mortgage has been part of the tremendous growth of Georgetown Mortgage LLC over the last 7 years. Since its inception in 2000, Island Mortgage has funded more than 2000 loans totaling over $340 million.
Before his career in the mortgage business, Greg earned a bachelor’s degree from the Geography department of Southwest Texas State University with a focus on community planning and real estate development. Greg was president of the Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity while attending SWT.
Greg is husband to Shiloh and father to Ava (8), Landon (8), Maya (7) & Henry (5). Greg and family now reside in southwest Austin. Greg loves the hills and creeks of central Texas and is lucky to enjoy living in central Texas and working along the beautiful Texas Gulf coast. Greg enjoys spending time with his kids, relaxing at the family farm, and playing tournament golf.
