Chatham Area Transit (CAT) is the proud mobility provider for the Savannah-Chatham County area. Established as an Authority in January 1987, CAT carries on the rich history of transportation in Savannah dating back to 1869.
CAT offers local and express bus routes, paratransit service, and a bike sharing program. We also operate free shuttles and ferry service to Hutchinson Island, working with all members of the community to keep residents and visitors connected to the people and places they love.
