Humboldt Mediation Services is a community based, non-governmental, non-profit organization of trained volunteer mediators. Our goal is to help community members solve disputes peacefully through open communication and collaborative resolution.
We provide conflict resolution services for disputes of all kinds, including family and child custody disputes, divorces and separations, workplace conflicts, tenant-landlord conflicts, and many others. Our Community Board style of mediation encourages communication, collaborative resolution, and win-win solutions as an alternative to costly court cases and legal punishments.
We also offer annual Community Mediator training, Communication and Conflict Management workshops, meeting and focus group facilitation, and custom workshops to the community. We strive to work locally toward global peace by providing community members and organizations with peacemaking tools and community-based conflict resolution options.
