The Virginia Tire & Auto story began in 1976 when Myron Boncarosky, founder and President of Virginia Tire & Auto, left Texaco Oil Company to pursue his dream--to own his own business. He opened his first store, Main Street Shell, in Fairfax City and in the decade to follow, opened multiple other full service gasoline stations in Northern Virginia. In 1988, Virginia Tire & Auto became affiliated with Goodyear when he opened Virginia Tire & Auto of Centreville (formerly known as Centreville Automotive) and then in 2010 became affiliated with Bridgestone when he opened Virginia Tire & Auto of South Riding. Throughout the years, Myron has been continually recognized as a leader in the automotive repair industry. He takes great pride in Virginia Tire & Auto and is steadfastly committed to exceeding his customers' expectations of honest, courteous and quality for all automotive maintenance, repair and tire needs.
