Barberton Tree Service, Inc., began with a gift. When founder Keith Luck turned 18 in 1971, his grandmother gave him a pick-up truck and a chainsaw. He set himself up in business and it grew into a 30-truck family enterprise with 40 employees at peak season.
In September 2002, Barberton Tree Service, Inc., moved its location to 3307 Clark Mill Road in Norton (next to Barberton Speedway) to join Mulch Makers of Ohio. This new facility enables them to be more efficient and passes valuable savings on to their customers.
Keith’s strong belief in giving back to his community is reflected by his work with the city and their Parks program. By keeping the trees trimmed in all of the parks, the wood waste is then ground, cultivated and then donated back to the city for use throughout the beautification program. Barberton Tree Service, Inc., provides all tree services, including tree and stump removal, trimming, pruning and clearing. They specialize in dangerous tree removals including those requiring use of their 20-ton, 110-foot crane. Barberton Tree Service, Inc., is fully insured and covered by the Bureau of Workers Compensation. Much of the company’s work comes from referrals – both residential and commercial.
