Founded in 1964, Big Y Yardage has a long history of making and supplying top quality drapery and upholstery fabrics as well as providing custom fabrication of window treatments and professional re-upholstery services. Big Y Yardage has 5,000 square feet of selling space stocked with a full line of drapery and upholstery fabrics. We purchase most of our stock directly from the nation’s top Manufacturers in order to offer consumers the best prices. Occasionally, we purchase close out items that can be offered at even lower prices.

In addition to selling fabrics, we also feature custom draperies, bedding including headboards, bedspreads, dust ruffles & pillows. We can also supply custom shutters and blinds. Big Y Yardage also carries several drapery hardware lines and provides professional measuring and installations, if required.

Our friendly sales staff is always ready to assist our customers, whether they are making their own window covering or need custom fabrication and installation. Our staff will be glad to assist customers in coordinating color schemes, and will help in calculation the amount of fabric needed for any treatment. Big Y Yardage Outlet stocks decorator fabrics from most of the major manufactures including Braemore, Covington, PKaufmann, Portfolio, Waverly and Swavelle. We also offer special order cut yardage fabrics from Kaslen, Kravet, Robert Allen, Fabricut, Duralee, Waverly and others.

Big Y Yardage carries a large selection of decorative sheer fabrics in both the 118” and 60” widths. We also stock silk drapery fabrics as well as many faux silk items. We carry a wide variety of cotton prints and toile fabrics. Much of our selling floor space is dedicated to our huge selection of upholstery fabrics including microfiber suede’s, chenille fabrics and textured upholstery fabrics.

We also stock outdoor fabrics including both Sunbrella and Al Fresco fabrics. These are the best of outdoor products available and are designed to resist fading and to be mildew resistant in order to withstand outdoor elements. Many customers are using Sunbrella for indoor upholstery projects as well, because of its easy cleaning features.

The decorative Trim department features and extensive selection of brush fringes, tassel fringes, and decorative cords as well as matching tassels and tiebacks. You'll find an array of brush fringes, bullions, chairties, cording key tassels, tassel fringes and tie backs in a wide color spectrum. Our designer trims are sure to add PIZZAZZ to your creative vision.

Drapery linings are an important part of any window treatment. Big Y Yardage offers a full selection of lining products such as sateen lining, dim out lining, black out lining and our own special combination lining featuring a sateen face and a flannel back in one fabric. The selection allows customers to choose the perfect lining for any window treatment. We also stock an extensive inventory of polyester and down/feather pillow inserts in many different sizes from 16”x16” to 30”x30”. We also stock special pillow fills for decorative neck rolls and rectangle in 14”x18” and 18”x24” and decorative outdoor pillows to complete your outdoor designs.
