The University Club is a majestic 1800's mansion, centrally located to shops, restaurants and hotels in downtown Santa Barbara. Originally the private residence of James Calkins, the estate has been beautifully renovated, boasting Spanish Colonial Revival architecture with its own private art collection and antiques, fireplaces, and chandeliers throughout. The University Club operates as a private Club for its members, as well as a full-service event venue for weddings and special events. All events include tables, linens, chairs, flatware, stemware, Bride & Groom dressing suites, dance floors and free all-day parking. Multiple stately rooms open to fit any group size ranging from 30 to 300 people. Non-member Rehearsal Dinners, Ceremonies, Wedding Receptions, and Next Day Brunches available.
