Alpha Sigma Phi Fraternity was founded at Yale University on December 6, 1845 and currently recognizes 142 chapters, colonies, and interest groups across the world. There are more than 60,000 living members of the Fraternity.
The Alpha Sigma Phi Foundation was established in 1945 as a public trust and has since fully incorporated in the State of Indiana. The Foundation supports the scholastic, educational, and leadership development mission of Alpha Sigma Phi Fraternity.
CLVEN National House Corporation was established in 2010. CLVEN (Causa Latet Vis Est Notisimma) is based not only on the open motto of Alpha Sigma Phi, but from its historical significance to housing within Alpha Sigma Phi Fraternity.
The international headquarters of Alpha Sigma Phi Fraternity, its subsidiary CLVEN, and the Alpha Sigma Phi Foundation are located in Carmel, Indiana.
