Anurag Art Foundry and Sculpture Studio was founded by Bill Cole in 1981. Anurag is a family business run by father & son duo, Bill & Zach Cole. The name Anurag came from a world-traveling, family friend who had spent some time in India. In Sanskrit, Anurag has multiple meanings: passion, devotion & eternal love.
Bill studied at Hamline University under Michael Price while Zach attended Minneapolis College of Art & Design (MCAD) under the tutelage of Michael Bigger. Both had the opportunity to attend University of Minnesota where they learned from nationally and internationally recognized master sculptor and professor, Wayne Potratz. The Coles have over 50 years of combined experience. The Coles use their education, skills and experience to collaborate with artists and clients to achieve their concept or vision.
