With the belief that those with special needs and/or disadvantaged circumstances can lead more independent lives, VPI was created over 60 years ago with parents of people with disabilities, local manufacturers, educators, and human service providers. VPI's stand-alone human services programs provide a variety of assistance to those in extreme need. VPI operates two production facilities that provide custom packaging and manufacturing services to local manufacturers in order to provide funding and training platform for many of its vocational skills training programs. VPI has a uniquely blended workforce that educates and integrates hundreds of individuals with disabilities with technically trained production workers.
