Happy Snowy Monday! We thought it would be fun to share some snow shoveling "hacks" with all of you! 1~ To stop snow from sticking to your shovel as you scoop, spray a light coating of cooking oil on your shovel before you start the daunting task of scooping. 2~ To get a bit more traction while you are working hard in the snow, put a second layer of socks on OVER your shoes or boots. 3~ If you are unsatisfied with the results "salt" has on your sidewalks, you can make an alternative with the following ingredients: 1 tsp. generic dish soap - 1 TB rubbing alcohol- 1/2 gal. warm water....mix and pour on sidewalk:) Now, we can't take all the credit! The very awesome do it yourself website gave us insight into these things in the first place~! But what great suggestions! Happy scooping everyone!
