- WRT was formed in 1952 and is headquartered in Hazen, North Dakota with branch offices in Beulah, ND and Mobridge, SD. WRT employs more than 75 local people throughout our service area.

- WRT serves 25 exchanges located in all or part of 17 counties in North Dakota and South Dakota; which includes more than 14,500 customers with over 19,000 lines.

Community

- WRT is proud to be a part of our local communities. From customer appreciation feeds at area games to donations to community organizations, WRT supports our local communities and appreciates your local support.

- WRT employees give back to their communities as well. From participating in the Denim Day for Charity program at work to volunteering for various organizations and events, WRT employees are an active part of the communities we serve.

- WRT also awards eight $1,000 scholarships each year to support our local students in their pursuit of higher education. Students who are members of WRT or whose parents are members of WRT are eligible.
