Innovative Crushing and Aggregate, of Louisville, KY got into the concrete recycling business out of necessity in March 1995 to crush concrete rubble and other demolition debris generated by their affiliate excavating company. Innovative Crushing started with a road-portable Grasan KR1315 rubble plant equipped with a Hazemag impactor. The unit easily handles over 300 tons per hour of concrete rubble and over 400 tons per hour of shot limestone. In March 1998, Innovative added Grasan's compact rubble plant, the KR1010, designed for small to medium sized jobs. Recyclable materials can be brought to Innovative's crushing sites in Louisville, KY and Clarksville, IN.
