Opened in 1817, the Lake George Steamboat Company has been carrying passengers on the waters of Lake George for 199 years. Come enjoy the beauty of the queen of American lakes from the comforts of our three ships:
The Mohican- Built in 1908, the Mohican is now entering her 108th year of continuous service. While this makes her the 4th or 5th oldest passenger vessel in North America (3rd or 4th in the United States, and the oldest in New York), no other ship in North America can match her track record of 104 continual years of licensed and inspected operation and passenger service. This 117 foot vessel has been traversing these waters since 1908 and she is still steaming strong. She makes a complete tour of 32 mile long Lake George every Thursday plus an Island Explorer cruise every afternoon. On top of that she also makes a Pasta, Pizza, and (wildly popular) Taco Cruise.
The Minne Ha Ha- The Minne Ha Ha is a genuine 137 foot stern-paddlewheel steamship. She has been making her 1 hour tours of the southern part of Lake George since she was built in 1969. She not only completes 7 of these tours each day (between 10am and 7:30pm), but every Saturday night she goes out on a 2 hour moonlight cruise where people can enjoy the lake at night while listening to the live band rocking the dance floor on her 2nd deck.
The Lac Du Saint Sacrement- The Saint Sacrement is not only the newest vessel (built in 1989), but is the flagship of our fleet of fine vessels. At feet long the Saint is the largest ship sailing the inland waters of New York. Enjoy an elegant dining experience while sailing the beautiful waters of Lake George on her daily 2 hour long Lunch and Dinner cruise or her 2¼ hour Sunday Brunch trip. And if you’re looking to really enjoy Lake George Village’s Thursday night fireworks show come and view it on the lake from the open decks of the Saint on her hour Fireworks cruise.
